SHARED-CARE
From £2,000 - birth support package delivered by two birth workers.
-
Shared-care is where I work with another experienced birth worker to provide your birth package (see above). You’ll have me and another birth worker deliver your antenatal sessions. We share the on-call period together and then whoever is on-call and attends your birth, will follow up with one postnatal visit.
-
The main benefit of shared care is double the experience, wisdom and skills for a reasonable fee.
Shared care means I can support you alongside other known commitments or birth bookings.
-
If we are both free and your labour is long, we may well ‘tag team’ (second birth worker relieving the first on call with a generous handover) to ensure you get the best possible support.
